Conference 2013

This years ‘Innovation Incentive’ conference took place Mercure Hotel in Windsor.

The morning session was led with the business review from Jeremy Waud (Incentive FM Group Managing Director). This was followed by a rousing session on Innovation from Martin Reed (Incentive FM Managing Director) and finally Laura Phillips (Group HR Director) outlined a day in the life of the HR department.

The three companies represented by Raj Pradhan (Incentive Lynx), Bruce McDonnell (Incentive FM) and Ray Rushworth (Incentive QAS) outlined their plans for innovation for the coming year and also gave a review how the businesses had performed. The conclusion of the morning session came from Bill and Martin who then announced the new charities for the group – Macmillan Cancer Support and The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

The lunch break was followed by an introduction to the afternoon Apprentice activity by our special guest, Mr Alan Sweetener! The teams were set different tasks, ranging from branding & decorating cupcakes, developing a new line in perfume and up-cycling charity shop clothes.

Everyone threw themselves into the event, then head out into Windsor town centre, selling their wares for charity. The boardroom highlighted some exceptional performance and also some "areas for improvement"!

The black tie awards dinner followed, with an amazing fashion show from both teams. Alan Sweetener then auctioned off the remaining outfits with an incredible £2294.50 being raised for the new charities, which the Group Board members pledged to match.
