Consultancy Review

2011 was the most successful year for Incentive Consulting so far. Not only did we do more consultancy days than ever before but we also expanded our services to a wider range of clients.

In November Incentive Consulting were instructed by Liverpool FC to complete a review of their non match day facilities operations at the main locations of Anfield Stadium, Mellwood Training Ground and their Youth Academy. Andrew Parkinson who had previously been the Centre General Manager at Bluewater had moved to Liverpool as Operations Director and quickly recognised that the skills and knowledge we bring to the retail sector is directly transferrable to the stadium operations of clubs like Liverpool. This work will continue through 2012 and hopefully we can help to make Liverpool champions off the field as well as on it.

Jeremy was so excited by this new relationship he donned his brand new Liverpool scarf and made his first appearance at a football match when he attended the recent Carling Cup Final. After the match Jeremy said “once I had got used to the ball being that funny round shape the game was really rather exciting”!

Another new consultancy client is Land Securities who are one of the UK’s leading property companies with assets totaling more than £8bn. Following a competitive tendering exercise Incentive Consulting were instructed to provide technical procurement support to the team at Land Securities. The project scope included around fifty high profile commercial office buildings in the West End, City and Victoria areas of London. The contracts across cleaning, security and maintenance services had a total contract value in excess of £30m.

Hammerson, Capital Shopping Centres and Lend Lease continue to be supported by Jessica Strawbridge and the team who provide bi annual operational reviews across all FM disciplines. This work continues into 2012.

Silverburn Shopping Centre - Hammerson

Hammerson have expanded their portfolio through 2011 with the addition of Silverburn Shopping Centre in Pollack, Glasgow and Centrale Shopping Centre in Croydon. Our consultants assisted with the procurement of security and cleaning services at both shopping centres with the new contracts going live in November 2011. These two centres, along with Union Square in Aberdeen are now added to the regular operational audit scheme.
